Zoya Bubbly Collection

Hello, everybody! It's been a while again. I've still been busy with grad school applications, work, getting a reliable car, and more, so things have been quiet around here. But I couldn't pass up the opportunity to share this amazing Bubbly collection from Zoya with you!

The Bubbly collection is full of shimmer and sparkle. The colors are very bright and eye-catching - perfect for summer! From left to right they are:
  • Binx: Purple Orchid Metallic, Holographic Glitter
  • Harper: Mexican Pink Metallic, Holographic Glitter
  • Jesy: Coral Orange Metallic, Holographic Glitter
  • Alma: Golden Peach Metallic, Holographic Glitter
  • Stassi: Jade Green Metallic, Holographic Glitter
  • Muse: Mermaid Blue Metallic, Holographic Glitter

Up first, Binx! Binx is a gorgeous shade. On the nail, it isn't quite as opaque as it appears in the bottle. But most of these are like that since they're all somewhat jelly-like. It also appears a little more pink than purple, but is a gorgeous orchid shade either way. The gold shimmer and metallic flecks are perfect in this polish! I used two coats of Binx.

Harper is a stunning, bright pink. This one is a little more opaque than the others, and is less jelly-like. It covered more easily in two coats, and didn't leave any sheer spots. The gold shimmer in it is stunning, but honestly I think I prefer it in the jellies better! I used two coats of Harper.

Jesy is a super shimmery metallic jelly orange. This one seemed a little more sheer than some of the others. The color isn't a super vibrant orange since it's a sheer jelly, but it's still very eye-catching for summer! You could easily build it up in a few coats, but I chose to leave it like this with two coats.

Alma is a little like Jesy, but I actually think it covered a little better, despite it being such a light color. I'm always a little iffy on sheer yellow polishes since I don't want my nails to just look yellowed, but this Alma is different - it looks way more gold than yellow in person, especially with the shimmer. I used two coats of Alma for these photos.

Stassi is also similar to Jesy. It's definitely sheer, but can easily be built up in a few coats. I actually applied three coats of Stassi to make it a little more opaque, but I actually quite like how it looked with two as well. Instead of just building this one up on its own, I'll probably try it over other green polishes to give them shimmer and depth.

Last but not least, Muse! Muse is a little more like Binx, as far as the formula goes. It's a jelly, but still pretty opaque, and covers very well. You can almost barely see the white tips of my nails through it! The shimmer and depth of this polish remind me of the ocean. It looks great alone, but I want to try this layered over other blue polishes as well! I used two coats of Muse.

In general, I am loving this collection. The colors are very vibrant and just perfect for summer. Also the shimmer in them is amazing, and they also have holographic glitter! They all glisten and look even more stunning when you can see them moving, catching the light in person. I think the shimmer in Binx is the most stunning!

As for the formula, they all applied well and covered in two or three coats. Stassi, Jesy, and Alma may require a few coats, but Binx, Harper, and Muse cover in only a couple. Harper seemed a little thick to me, but was still workable - it also was more opaque and covered more than the others though. The rest applied normally and super easily. I'll have to try layering them over the Tickled collection next!

You can purchase the Bubbly collection from zoya.com for $9 each, or $54 for the entire set.
