B&W Nail Art Challenge -Freehand-for-all

So okay, I sort of bailed on the stamping challenge. I honestly tried, but didn't like how it turned out. So I tried again, and didn't like that either. Then I was going to retry another day, but I ran out of time. I've had a lot on my mind this week, and I was getting too frustrated at stamping! So I just moved on today's challenge.

Today's theme is freehand. Freehand designs are my favorite. Since I'm clumsy and end up messing up taping manicures and stamping, I usually resort to freehanding. But I'm alright with that since I love doing it!

My designs may never be the cleanest or most intricate, but I still have fun freehanding. I didn't really know what to do for today's, so I just sort of made a spiraly black and white pattern. I used China Glaze White on White and then freehanded some black designs over it. I then inverted the colors for the accent nail, and used a white nail art polish over Pure Ice Black Rage.

My lines didn't come out very clean since my hands were pretty shaky today. I also tried something new by trying to paint the free edge of each nail with a different color, so you can see there's a bit of black on the tips of the white nails. It almost gives it a nice outline! Now the tops are lacking.

I was going to freehand zebra stripes since I love doing that, but animal themed nails are next week in this challenge, so I'll save some stripes for then!

Don't forget to check out everyone else's black and white nails! And you're always welcome to add your link or share your nails with me on my Facebook wall!
