Wet n Wild - Hollywood Walk of Fame

So I did end up applying something on top of Zoya Kelly! I had a lot of options for glitters to put on top, but I've been meaning to try this glitter topcoat from Wet n Wild's Fergie collection.

I was really intrigued by this glitter topcoat. I love stars, and the colors seemed bright and interesting. This one is called Hollywood Walk of Fame, and it is a clear base filled with holographic and iridescent purple, blue, red, silver, and gold stars.

There are also some small flecks of iridescent glitter suspended in the base along with some tiny bar glitter. Not a lot of those transitioned onto the nails, but they added a bit more sparkle without taking away from the stars too much.

The stars are certainly interesting. They shine green, blue, and other colors. Unfortunately they're a little sparse. I suppose this happens in a lot of polishes that have pieces of glitter this large though. So instead of applying this carefully like a normal polish or glitter topcoat, I would apply quite a bit and try to get a lot of stars out of the bottle at once.

The overall look is alright though. The stars are placed pretty randomly, which I like, though you could easily try to control where they go. You could probably also fish the stars out of the bottle with a toothpick to try and place them more carefully.

Hollywood Walk of Fame and other Wet n Wild Fergie polishes sell for $3.49 each and can be found where most Wet n Wild products are sold.

Product purchased by me. All opinions are my own.

  1. I am a sucker for star and shaped glitters. Even though they ted to be crappy application because they are big glitters. Thanks for sharing!

    1. Me too! I love star shapes for some reason. I hesitated to try it at first since they're quite large, but they're workable. I sort of globbed it on to get a lot of stars, but at least the clear base isn't too thick or goopy.

    1. Thanks! I love the colors of the stars. I'm wondering what other polishes they would look good on now!

  3. Love this one on the gray base esp.

I would love to hear your feedback!
