Today's theme is pretty simple: green. I figured I should use at least a couple different shades of green, but I couldn't decide on a design. So I just went with dots! Dots are simple and fun to do, but I tend to like dotted designs quite a bit.
I did all of my nails the same except for my ring finger accent nail. I just inverted the colors for that finger to add some interest. I'm glad both polishes I used were opaque enough to cover with one coat of dots.
I painted my nails solid with Essie Navigate Her, and used China Glaze Running in Circles for the dots. I then reversed the colors and painted my accent nail with Running in Circles, and dotted with Navigate Her.
I wanted really big dots, so I used my largest dotting tool. I like how the largest tip happened to be on the green dotting tool too! For dotting, I started at the tips and worked my way toward the cuticle. I offset the dots so that they're not lined up perfectly, although they line up a bit when viewed diagonally.
Well it was simple to do and I like it! I love green polishes, but haven't used many in a while, so it was refreshing for me to do too.
