Crush on Ivy is a gorgeous green color. I love greens and have several, but this one is pretty unique in my collection. It's very shiny and really does look like a green chrome. I didn't notice it in the bottle, but on the nail it becomes more apparent that it's metallic green with goldish flakes inside. You can see some of the gold shine in the photo above.
It applied really smooth and easily. I only used two coats and then applied a coat of Seche Vite on top. I got full coverage very easily, and no lumps. The brush inside was also a bit wider than expected, more like OPI brushes.
The bottles in this collection are cute as well. They're tall and thin, but I think they're attractive and easy to store in my Helmer drawers. Unfortunately, it's basically a glorified mini bottle - it only holds 0.26 oz as opposed to the typical full size 0.5 oz bottle.
But the size difference didn't stop me from buying a bunch of these new Hard Candy polishes. A lot of the colors are pretty unique and still worth the price to me. Using only two coats, I'll definitely get to use Crush on Ivy several more times.
I really like Crush on Ivy and would recommend grabbing it if you can. I found mine at a Walmart for $3.97, so most Walmart stores should retail for about $4.00. Also if you really like it, grab two since it's more like a mini bottle!
