Flip Flop February - Animal Print

Animal print is always a bit over-the-top for me. I still love it though! I just decided to take it and run with it, and make it crazy but fun.

I also finally got my hands on a true holographic polish, so I just had to try it out! I am absolutely in love with the results. I love zebra strips to begin with. It's probably my favorite animal pattern. Paired with holographic polish, it's truly fierce.

Since I don't really own any stamping supplies yet, I decided to freehand my zebra stripes. I used a black striper polish and just painted stripes randomly. I suppose it could also pass for tiger stripes!

The holographic polish is Silver Holo from Urban Outfitters. I used two coats of Silver Holo, and then freehanded the zebra stripes with a black Cherimoya nail art polish. I waited for the stripes to dry for a while before I applied a coat of Seche Vite, to help prevent streaking and smearing of the design.

I seriously love these nails! I won't want to take them off tomorrow to do newsprint nails! I guess I also really like it since this is my first time using this holographic polish as well. This is definitely a design I will be revisiting!

The design was really easy to do, and it looks wonderful! I might just have to try leopard print next time though.
