Pretty & Polished - Them Bones

I'm definitely in the Halloween spirit already. My desk is covered in Halloween and fall polishes that I'm dying to use, my house is decorated, and I'm excited about the Halloween giveaway! So for today, I have yet another Halloween themed polish - Them Bones by Pretty & Polished.

Them Bones is part of the Halloween collection from Pretty & Polished this year. I ordered full sizes of the entire collection since I love Halloween polishes so much! This is the first one I've gotten a chance to use so far.

Them Bones is a black jelly polish filled with white glitter. I use the term "glitter" lightly since everything is pretty large in this polish! It has large white hexes, white bar glitter, and even some white shreds! When I first bought the polish, I didn't know that it had the shreds - I just thought it was large hexes and bars.

I didn't even really notice the shreds until I was applying the second coat. I applied three coats total for these photos with no base polish. Since it's a jelly, I wanted it to appear to have some depth, so I didn't apply it over black polish. It worked! And it got very dark and opaque with a few coats, but still has depth to it. I used three, although two also covered very well.

I topped the three coats of Them Bones with one layer of topcoat. I think it turned out nicely! I'm typically not a huge fan of bar glitter, but I like it in this polish since it definitely makes me think of skeletons, skulls, and bones.

I bought this polish in a set, but you can now buy them individually from Pretty & Polished's Etsy shop. There are currently minis available for $4.75 and full sizes available for $8.50. Don't forget to check out Pretty & Polished on Facebook to learn about new polishes, restocks, and more!
