I was home quite a bit today, I caught the UPS guy too, and my nail mail consisted of these cute Nails Inc. Sprinkles nail polishes I ordered from Sephora. I got all four of them, but I went to the blue one called Pudding Lane first!
Pudding Lane is part of the Sprinkles collection from Nails Inc. It is a blue polish filled with glitter. The glitter is all light green (almost a spring green), and a dark purplish-blue. My camera decided to make it more on the purple side in the above photo, but both glitters shine and do look lighter or darker as you turn the bottle.
On the nail, the glitters really only green and blue. I'm fine with that though, since together with the blue base they are gorgeous! This is only two coats of Pudding Lane with one coat of Seche Vite on top. I got excellent coverage with just those two coats.
There is enough glitter inside to be distributed evenly, meaning I didn't do any "glitter manipulation." The two coats topped with one coat of SV is still a little textured to the touch, so it is a pretty thirsty polish, meaning it could definitely use more topcoat for a truly smooth, glossy finish. I'm alright with a little texture though.
I just can't get over how bright and beautiful this color is though! I love it, and the polish is a pretty good formula. I had no issues with the polish itself, but the bottle is a little disappointing. The silver top of the bottle feels very flimsy, and the brush inside mine had a few "hairs" that were longer than the others. Still, this didn't really hinder my ability to apply it evenly, so it wasn't terrible.
I still give this polish an A+ though. I know these Sprinkle polishes are quite popular right now, but I think they're worth trying no matter what. The Nails Inc. Sprinkles polishes are available from Sephora for $9.50. Any more money and I probably wouldn't have bought all of them, but $9.50 for a 10mL bottle seemed reasonable for this look!
