Not too long ago Butter London had a sale on their nail lacquers. The deal was that you could get 3 polishes for $30, for 24 hours only. Well, I didn't own any Butter London polishes, so I decided to go for it! I got three of them: Disco Biscuit, The Black Knight, and Tart with a Heart.
Once again, my photos don't do this polish justice. It is a pink, almost magenta polish, packed with tiny blue flecks. They are super sparkly and catch the light in person, but barely anything shows in photos! Bummer!
My camera made some of the tiny blue flecks glow like crazy. You can see plenty of them in the bottle and some that really caught the light on my nails. The polish is a little sheer on its own, so I applied a couple coats of Disco Biscuit over a coat of Elf's Passion Pink, which is a magenta polish with gold shimmer.
Even with the coat of Passion Pink underneath, you can see it's a bit sheer. Still, it's too gorgeous of a color to pass up just because it's a little thin. It's not exactly a jelly, but it will take three or four coats to build it up on its own.
In general, it's a great polish. It's a little darker in person than in the photos too, and has so much more blue shimmer, especially when you apply several coats and can see the depth of all the blue flecks in each layer. It's a little pricey at $14 per bottle, but this is one of their polishes that I think is worth the splurge. You can find Disco Biscuit and other great Butter London polishes on their website. Now I'm excited to try the other polishes I got too!
