Phew, what a work week it has been. One week at the new job now, and it's been great! Still adjusting to my new sleep pattern, and all around relaxing this weekend. I think this whole next week will be pretty fun with my birthday on the 30th, a wedding on the 2nd, and more! But for my "chill" weekend, I chose Zoya's Carey.
Carey is a beautiful grayish tone, with some blue undertones. It's definitely a cooler shade of gray, and with the hint of blue, it isn't as dull or boring as some other gray polishes.
I was actually really trying to decide on whether I should buy Zoya's Carey or Zoya's Dove. Both look like wonderful shades of gray, but I went with this one. I'm really enjoying it so far, as it's actually a very pretty color! I suppose it almost looks like a muted periwinkle too.
This is two coats of Carey topped with one generous coat of Seche Vite. The coverage is very nice, and the polish isn't too thin. Application was a little tedious, but wasn't terribly difficult. I thought I was going to have streaks, as I sometimes get with whites, yellows, or other lighter colors, but they faded within the second coat, and ultimately disappeared when I put the top coat on.
