I'm typically not a pink or purple person, but wow, this purple is just gorgeous. It has an incredible sheen to it, and I think it shimmers more than the other polishes in this collection! Even in my lightbox, the shimmering glare was pretty intense.
As usual, I put Happy Ending over it for my accent nail, so you can see what it looks like over Charming too. Happy Ending is still super sparkly in all of its shredded goodness, but I don't think it pops quite as well on this purple color as it did on Princess or Feelin' Froggy. I suppose that's just because this purple is almost as shimmery as the topcoat!
Still, it's a gorgeous color. I think the red flecks in the top coat really stand out on it in person. As with the other polishes, one coat was super thin, but two is what I did to achieve this look. I still feel like this one may be a bit thinner than the others, so you may apply a third coat, but I guess that's up to you and how thick you apply your first two coats!
Don't forget! Cult Nails is launching this collection on Friday, May 25th with a pre-sale event. During this one week pre-sale event, the whole collection is going to be offered for the discounted price of $40 - that's like getting one polish free! Cult Nails says that pre-sales are expected to ship out by June 15th, and the polishes will be available for individual purchase at that time too. Each bottle is $10.
This polish was provided by Cult Nails for review. As always, I only offer my honest opinion.
